My name is Rikenley Michel. I am completing my Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration at Florida International University. My college experience has been challenging and adventurous. During my undergraduate career, I have been involved in numerous honor societies and service organizations both on campus and the community. At one of the honor societies, I was the Outreach and Fundraising Director. As a student leader, I led the honor society to earn the President’s Volunteer Service Group Award for the first time in the last ten years. I enjoy giving back through community service. I have volunteered for events such as the Martin Luther King Jr. National Day of Service; Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk; and numerous Blood Drives that have benefited the South Florida community. I have made the Dean’s List on numerous occasions during my undergraduate studies. In the past, I have been the recipient of numerous short-term scholarship opportunities such Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholarship.
