Everything related to plants fascinates me. I am always intrigued by the physiological phenomena that goes in plant. The plants have always teased and urged to me learn them more. So, when the opportunity to explore plant physiology under shaded environment and drought conditions came to me in one of the prestigious university in the United States, I took the study whole heartedly. I was inclined towards the molecular aspects as I got engaged with my study. I want to incorporate plant breeding to improve a particular trait in the plants with a goal to benefit people. My happiness knew no bounds when I found similar project at the University of Nebraska Lincoln (UNL). As, I completed my master's degree, I opt to PhD program at UNL. At the end, plants are my motivating factor, every time I see plants, they compel me to work for them and explore the possibilities for our (plants and people) secure future.
