This scholarship award was given to me in August 2015 by the Gary Educational Development Foundation for having a worthy career goal, scholastic achievements, and possessing positive personal qualities such as work ethic and positive attitude.

A member since 4th grade til present, except in 6th grade because uninformed about induction but was definitely Honor Society material.
Martin Luther King Essay Contest Award for $300
Won first place in Gary`s City Wide Martin Luther King Essay Contest for supporting universal healthcare in 8th grade.
Valpo Math and Science All Star Recognition
Biology teacher selected me in 11th grade to go to Valparaiso University to tour the school because of my exceptional biology skills. This day was dedicated to students with science and math talent.
National Congress of Future Medical Leaders Selectee
I was selected summer of junior year and at the end of senior year. I was chosen to go to Washington D.C. to be with other smart students and become member, but did not go. I was selected for outstanding grades and leadership potential.
Grad School Interests
Intended Job Path
I plan to land a job in my field of actuarial science immediately after I graduate from Valparaiso University and later when I settle into that job, also acquire a job as a dietitian at some hospital, hotel, etc while also furthering my career as an actuary by acquiring higher positions.
