HonorSociety.org Community Values
May 26,2016The core values of an honor society represent the society as a whole. They represent the members, leaders, and alumni of the society and these core values get passed down year after year. HonorSociety.org was founded under the main objective of providing an all inclusive honor society that helped build a network for students to achieve their greatest potential. With this founding principle, HonorSociety.org has become the largest honor society.
Beyond the main objective of HonorSociety.org are the core values that are instilled in each member and these members live these every day. Each of the 10 core values reflect the social, work, and moral values of the honor society and its members.
Social Values
The social values of HonorSociety.org reflect its dedication to bettering the communities in which the members live. With innovative members who drive change, members use what they learn and create to build a better world for themselves and others. HonorSociety.org members are leaders both inside and outside of the classroom. They take initiative to make a difference in their communities.
Examples of Social Values:
Each year HonorSociety.org gives back to the American Red Cross
Each chapter participates in community service activities within their community
HonorSociety.org are respectful, trustworthy, and helpful
Work Values
HonorSociety.org members and alumni are high achievers and in a constant pursuit of excellence. They recognize their past success while still seeking to move further and look for every opportunity for improvement. HonorSociety.org is a platform for members to network together to help each other reach their professional goals.
Examples of Work Values:
HonorSociety.org chapters host networking events at their chapter meetings
All members have access to career development services and job search tools
Members academic and professional successes are recognized through scholarships
Moral Values
HonorSociety.org members uphold the moral values of the honor society in their day to day life from interactions with friends to working as a team member and leader at work. HonorSociety.org members are humble, they take action and do thing snot simply how it can help themselves, but how it will benefit everyone involved. HonorSociety.org members are also committed to being a member of the community who is a team player and promotes a positive team experience.
