Honor Society Unveils State-Specific Scholarships
Jan 18,2023Honor Society has recently unveiled state-specific scholarships, targeting three key states in the American Southwest: Nevada, Texas and Arizona. The most recent state-specific scholarship to be unveiled through this next round of scholarship is the "Arizona Achiever Scholarship."
The purpose of these scholarships is to offer a reward for students who have gone above and beyond to epitomize the pillars of Honor Society, and offer a chance to apply within a narrower pool of applicants on a state scale rather than national scale, giving them a greater opportunity for selection as a recipient.
The “Battle Born Scholarship” seeks to reward an ambitious Honor Society student who has performed at a superior rate both academically and holistically. An ideal candidate for this scholarship is a student who shines in their academics, community service or society involvement. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be based in Nevada.
Likewise, the “Lone Star Scholarship” also rewards students who have exemplified excellence within their community, academically, in leadership roles, or otherwise. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be based in Texas.
Similarly, the “Arizona Achiever Scholarship” offers an opportunity for Arizona-based students to showcase their involvement on campus, their major, and within the community at large. This is the most recent scholarship that Honor Society has introduced, meaning whoever is selected from the pool of applicants will be the first to receive this scholarship.
These state-specific scholarships are another example of how Honor Society is working to build the most inclusive environment for students to receive financial awards for their hard work. While Honor Society works on introducing more state-specific scholarships in the future, there are many other national scholarships that students are also encouraged to apply for, with endless possibilities to fund their dreams and academically enrich themselves.
