I am a detail oriented, motivated, self-starter with great teamwork skills, as well as, project management and project coordination experience. A few of my strong qualities include: creating and/ or applying digital content for existing and/ or emerging forms of media, adapting messages to audiences and technological constraints while retaining (and amplifying) the benefits provided by existing and emerging media, and anticipating the ethical implications of emerging media and their power to shape public opinion. I am a current student at The University of Texas at Dallas working towards earning a Bachelors degree in Emerging Media and Communications (EMAC). I am drawn to digital media, emerging media, social networking, and the implied philosophical impact social media has had on communication. I am a graduate of ITT Technical Institute with an Associate’s in Applied Science of Computer Aided Drafting and Design. I graduated in 2009 with a true 4.0 GPA. During my tenure at ITT, I worked a full time job in the computer aided drafting design field (CAD). Total, I have five years experience in the CAD designing industry, structural foundations, cold-formed steel construction, elevator hoist-ways, and elevator units. I also have experience in project coordination and handled more than 15 states totaling over 200 elevator units with the “$2 Million Dollar” team at ThyssenKrupp Elevator in Frisco, TX. My current goals are to be a front running innovator in the new, Emerging Media and Communications, program offered at UTD in Richardson, TX. Currently, I have a 3.52 GPA, will graduate in Spring 2014 and I am working towards a Certificate in Critical Communication Skills.
