She is a current English student at Gordon College with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in Art. After college, she wants to continue her education in the writing field, particularly in screenwriting, and explore how her writing can be transferred over to the screen. What makes her unique is my passion to be truthful and emotionally honest in everything that she does. That is not only evident in her writing, but in her commitment to advocating for English students to pursue their passion, whether it’s for writing, teaching or other journalistic careers. As a writer herself, she understands the difficulty in being faithful to your work when you live in a world full of judgement. She hopes to publish her memoir that she's been writing for several years now, which focuses on her experience with depression and defending her Catholic faith at a mainly predominant Protestant college. Through her memoir, she wants to advocate for the importance of studying English Language Literature and emphasis how reading literature can advocate for healthy conversation about mental illness and other difficult young adult themes.
